Irving Builders join the Playhouse Challenge
Irving Builders have joined the 2017 Playhouse Challenge! Growing up in Fairlie, Lance Irving’s building career started at a young age working on projects with his father. In 2006, after a period of combining travel and building, Lance returned to Christchurch to set up Irving Builders in West Melton.
Lance describes Irving Builders as a company that specialises in challenging projects. “We are passionate about being problem-solving builders. All of our homes are high-end architectural repairs or new builds. We’re not into mediocrity” Lance says.
“When we saw the idea for the Playhouse Challenge, we knew we wanted to be a part of it. It allows us to rally together as a team and work on something for a good cause,” Lance says.
Irving Builders are working alongside PXA Architects to come up with their design. Both companies are experts in keeping up to speed with trends and are planning a playhouse that is quirky and different.
Proceeds from the auction of the playhouses will be shared between Birthright Canterbury and the Tenants Protection Association (TPA) to support their ongoing work in the community.
